Ole Miss Hosts CFP Semifinal Watch Party

Ole Miss Brings Fiesta Bowl Fever to Oxford with CFP Semifinal Watch Party

Oxford is getting its own slice of playoff madness this Thursday.

Ole Miss announced it will host an official watch party for the Rebels’ College Football Playoff semifinal showdown against Miami. Fans can gather at the Sandy and John Black Pavilion to catch every moment of the action live from Glendale, Arizona.

Doors at the SJB Pavilion open at 5:30 p.m., giving supporters plenty of time to settle in before kickoff. Admission is free, and seating will be available on a general admission basis inside The Pavilion Club. Food, drinks, and Ole Miss merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Parking will be free, though the university’s clear bag policy will still apply.

The event comes as Ole Miss prepares for a historic night. The Rebels are making their first-ever appearance in the Fiesta Bowl and continue to build on a strong postseason legacy. Ole Miss holds a 27-15 record across 42 bowl games and stands 13-7 in major bowl appearances, placing the program among the nation’s most successful in postseason play.

Thursday’s matchup also brings a rare meeting with Miami. The two programs have faced each other only three times, all in Miami, with Ole Miss winning twice in the 1930s and 1940s before falling in 1951. This will mark their first meeting in more than seven decades and the first time both teams enter the game ranked.

For fans staying in Oxford, the Pavilion watch party offers a front-row seat to one of the biggest moments in Ole Miss football history, no plane ticket required.
